*cue the vibes*

A Dope Black Girl With Anxiety is a free publication centered on self-definition, introspection, and personal excavation. Keeping this publication accessible is intentional. While I hope to encourage my tribe—especially Black women—to explore themselves out loud and sit in the mess, at its core, this space exists so I can embrace my neurotic ways and expand my voice.

I embrace that I’m inconsistently consistent. I may take a break, but I always come back with a vibe.

the neighbor(hood) edit by ctrlaltblack studio

the neighbor(hood) edit is a curated record of Black creative thought and emotional ethnography—built to feed an inner renaissance rooted in self, curiosity, creative authority, and community.

Through ctrlaltblack studio, this work extends into an adult learning hub shaped by neurodivergent experience, lived knowledge, and transformational connection. The studio functions as a living thesis; an ongoing study that sustains our stories and creates space to share knowledge with one another through block party–style gatherings, shared resources, and embodied learning experiences.

support the vision

If you want to support the work or toss a few coffee beans my way, there’s a tip jar available. It helps sustain the writing, gatherings, and ongoing study behind the scenes, and while never expected, it will always be appreciated.
